Spirituality…
Nourish the Soul & Become Stronger in Faith
The Spiritual Committee focuses on helping members to expand each mother's knowledge of who God created her to be and how to share His love daily through encounters with family and community.
SGC continues to focus on Catholic formation by encouraging greater opportunities to pray, reflect, study and celebrate the sacraments. We want to inspire ourselves and others to yearn for Christ's love & mercy.
Mary is also a source of strength as she first said "yes", cooperating with God's will. She continues to help us say yes in our daily lives as we mother not only our children, but all who we encounter.
" World without mothers would be inhumane, lacking tenderness," says Pope Francis. Read more from our holy father at http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/1500046.htm

O glorious Saint Gerard, powerful intercessor before God, I call upon you and seek your help. You who always fulfilled God's will on earth, help me to do God's holy will. Intercede with the Giver of life, from whom all parenthood proceeds, that I may mother and raise children who will please God in this life, and be heirs to the kingdom of heaven. Amen
